Daddy's Birthday / El cumple de Daddy

Ayer fue el cumple de daddy y lo celebramos en casa con unos pasteles!
Yesterday was daddy's birthday and we celebrated at home with some cupcakes!

We got him a frame with our picture for the office and a card to buy some sandals for the pool... we will buy them this weekend (it is preferable to try them on!)

Le compramos un marco con una foto nuestra para la oficina y una tarjeta para que compre unas sandalias para la piscina (es preferible que se las pruebe!)

Weekend fun / Diversiones en fin de semana

This weekend was a great weekend. On Friday Gabriel had some reading time... waiting for daddy coming from a trip. Saturday we all enjoyed the pool... Ale tried her new boat.
Sunday we visited some friends. Gabriel had fun playing with Natalia... and Ale met Lucia.

Este fue un fin de semana estupendo. El viernes Gabriel tuvo un rato de lectura... esperando a que papa llegara de viaje. El sabado todos disfrutamos de la piscina... Ale monto en su barco por primera vez...
El domingo visitamos a unos amigos y Gabriel se lo paso genial jugando con Natalia... y Ale conocio a Lucia.

Friday we had a great time with our friends. They even experienced walking a dog... every childs wants to have a dog.. and Coco is perfect for that.. she does not complain... just makes them happy.

El viernes pasamos un rato estupendo con nuestros amigos. Incluso pudieron experimentar lo que es pasear con un perro.... y Coco es perfecta para eso... no se queja... simplemente les hace felices!

Butterfly Habitat / Ecosistema de mariposas

Gabriel got a Butterfly habitat and for some days we had worms in a container eating and growing. One day they went to the top of the container and made a cocoon. After some days one of the cocoons opened and we had a beautiful butterfly.

Hace unos dias compramos a Gabriel un ecosistema de mariposas y durante algunos dias hemos tenido unos gusanos en un tarro comiendo y creciendo. Un dia se subieron a la parte de arriba del tarro e hicieron un capullo. Despues de algunos dias uno de los capullos de ha abierto y hemos tenido una preciosa mariposa.

8.10 am and coming back from school to drop off Gabe this is what we had... heavy rain and sun.... ahhhh summer in Florida!

8.10 am de la mañana y de vuelta de dejar a Gabriel en el cole esto es lo que teniamos... fuerte lluvia y sol a la vez... ahhh el verano de Florida!

Empanadas

Empanadas are fun! I made them Sunday with Gabe... the two a little out of shape are his! they are delicious!

Las empanadas son divertidas! las hice el domingo con Gabriel... las dos un poco sin forma son las suyas! estaban deliciosas!

Matias

When we lived in Michigan Matias and Gabriel were always together... we are lucky because Mati's grandparents live 30 minutes from home, so when he visits them, we can see them. Mati and Gabe had lots of fun Saturday!

Cuando viviamos en Michigan Gabriel y Matias siempre estaban juntos... tenemos suerte porque los abuelos de Matias viven a media hora nuestra por lo que cuando les visitan, podemos verlos. Mati y Gabe se lo pasaron muy bien el sabado!

Friday / Viernes

On Friday we were invited to our friend Lori's house. Lori is Steve's friend from High School and lives close by. They are Jewish so we all participated in a beautiful celebration to thank for the things we have. We blessed the canddles, bread, wine and children. Gabriel has two new friends Josh and Ben.

El viernes fuimos invitados a la casa de nuestra amiga Lori. Lori es amiga de Steve del instituto y vive muy cerca. Como son Judios participamos con ellos en una bonita celebracion para dar gracias por las cosas que tenemos. Bendecimos las velas, el pan, el vino y los niños. Gabriel tiene dos nuevos amigos, Josh y Ben.
