This weekend we celebrated daddy's birthday! we ate at a Japanese and Thai restaurant and had cake!

First day of school / Primer dia de cole

Gabriel went today for the first time to his new school, he is starting second grade. He was a little nervous but I think he will have a good day. We wish him a year full of friendship and accomplishments! We love you!

Gabriel fue hoy por primera vez a su nuevo colegio, esta este año en segundo. Estaba un poquito nervioso pero creo que pasara un buen dia. Le deseamos un año lleno de amistades y de logros! Te queremos!

Alejandra and Arthur are great friends, that now go even together to school. When Arthur discovered that we were at the same restaurant, he greated Ale like this!!!! I looooove you!
Alejandra y Arthur son grandes amigos, y ahora incluso van juntos al cole. Cuando Arthur se dio cuenta de que estabamos en el mismo restaurante recibio a Alejandra muy efusivamente!!!! Te quiero muuuuuucho!

Catching up / Actualizando

This year has been so busy for me that I almost did not have time to update the blog. I am starting to do so... here are a few of the things we have done so far.

For example, Gabriel's birthday, that we celebrated having a nice pizza dinner with our closest friends.

Este año he estado tan ocupada que casi no tuve tiempo de actualizar el blog. Ahora estoy comenzando a hacerlo... voy a poner cosas que hemos estado haciendo hasta ahora.

Como por ejemplo el cumpleaños de Gabriel que celebramos con una cena de pizza con nuestros amigos mas cercanos.

And at home.... also some treats for the birthday boy the real day of his birthday. (The pizza party was one day before because of Tae Kwon Do class).
Y en casa... tambien hubo unos pastelitos el dia de su cumple (la fiesta fue un dia antes por las clases de Tae Kwon Do)

Last Saturday Gabriel tested for Brown Belt. He did GREAT and broke two boards at the same time with a perfect quick! Go Gabriel, we are very proud of you!

El pasado sabado Gabriel hizo el examen de Tae Kwon Do para cinturon marron. Lo hizo MUY bien y rompio dos maderas con una patada perfecta! Vamos Gabriel! estamos muy orgullosos de ti!

First day of school / Primer dia de cole

So first day of school is here, August 1st 2011.... and we were all happy in the morning.... ready to go with our back pack.... ready to spend the day with our friend Arthur. Later in school when we realised mom was leaving us, we started to cry. Mom is going to call now to see how I am doing.

Y el primer dia de cole ha llegado, 1 de agosto de 2011.... y estabamos muy contentos por la mañana... listos para ir con nuestra mochila.... listos para pasar el dia con nuestro amigo Arthur. Despues en el cole cuando nos hemos dado cuenta de que mama nos dejaba hemos comenzado a llorar. Mama va a llamar ahora al cole a ver como estoy.

Last Friday was "meet you teacher day".... Ale had a great time with Arthur at her class... she looks happy and is ready with her backpack. How would it be on Monday?

El pasado viernes fue "conoce a tu profesor".... Alejandra se lo paso muy bien con Arthur en su clase... parecia feliz y lista con su mochila. Que pasara el lunes?
