Alligators

Bu, Yaya and Great Grandma went to the Everglades to see the Alligators. They take you in a boat that gets moved by a giant fan... normal boats do not work as they will get trapped by the plants and vegetation... look how close a big alligator was.

n Bu, Yaya y la Bia fueron a los Manglares a ver los lagartos. Te llevan en un barco que se mueve gracias a un gran ventilador.. los barcos tradicionales no funcionan ya que se quedarian atrapados en las plantas y vegetacion... mirad lo cerca que esta el lagarto.

Mimi

It happened! after more than 7 years... we finally met cousin Mimi again! I first met Mimi when she visited Madrid... since then we have been in touch by mail and e-mail, and finally we saw each other yesterday. They were in Florida and they came to have dinner with us. Mimi came with husband Myron and son Simeon... almost Gabe's age, they had a great time playing together.

Y por fin paso! despues de mas de siete anos... finalmente vimos a nuestra prima Mimi! Conoci a Miami por primera vez cuando visito Madrid.. y desde entonces hemos seguido en contacto por correo y e-mail, y finalmente nos volvimos a ver ayer. Estaban en Florida y vinieron para cenar con nosotros. Mimi vino con su marido Myron y su hijo Simeon.. casi de la edad de Gabriel, se lo pasaron muy bien jugando juntos.

Bu loves Alejandra and her feet... so small but so big at the same time... she will have big feet when she gets older... when we change her, Bu comes to see her feet.

A Bu le encanta Alejandra y tambien sus pies... tan pequenos pero a la vez tan grandes... va a tener unos pies muy grandes cuando sea mayor.. cuando la cambiamos, Bu siempre viene a ver los pies.

Two weeks old / Dos semanas de vida

Alejandra was yesterday two weeks old. She is becoming very alert, eats very well and enjoys being in grandma's arms.... so dangerous!

Alejandra cumplio ayer dos semanas de vida. Se esta volviendo muy despierta, come muy bien y le gusta mucho estar en los brazos de su abuela... que peligro!
