This is the first experience we have celebrating the birthday of Gabriel at Montessori and we were absolutely pleased and touched by the beautiful ceremony.
The first picture shows a little document that I created with pictures of Gabriel in the past 4 years. The ceremony starts by Gabriel showing this to his friends and explaining him what are all the pictures and objects. He already has good presentation skills and his friends were very impressed with his job.
The second activity is the ceremony of the sun and earth. Gabriel chose his friend Ben to be the sun and Gabriel hold the earth. Gabriel chose a friend to be the 0 year. The teacher asked Gabriel what things he did between he was born and age one and all in class participating saying everything that Gabriel did. Pipi in the diapers, cry, sleep… it was so cute. Then Gabriel turns once around the sun and become 1 year old… again Gabriel chose a friend to be year number 1 and he explained his activities as a one year old baby. They repeated that until he reached 4 years old. You can see him posing with his friends the 4 years.
Later we enjoyed cupcakes and juice and Gabriel gave a little present (book) to all his classmates.
After school he did not want to go back home so we visited the sheep and play outside.

I love this!
That's so cute they remembered his entire life, not just birthday #4. What a great idea. He looks so happy with all his friends.
